The Witticus and La Muerta were two of my favorites. Witticus was crisp and citrusy, spicy, and yeasty. The bottle boasts of it being a Super Saison. I would have to agree.
La Muerta was nice and thick with a strong presence of smoke and dark chocolate.

The Edmund Fitzgerald porter was delicious. Roasted grains and coffee were strong in both taste and smell. Fantastic porter.

We finally finished my bottle of 97 Triple Bock. As always, a confusing experience. Is it good? Is it bad? Maybe mankind will never know.

Li'l Lucy's Hot Pepper Ale was another crowd-pleaser. Crisp and bready on the front with a wash of spice at the end. This beer was probably my favorite of the night, simply because it's so well done. Most pepper beers are either terribly under- or overwhelming. This one does it just right.

Abita Root Beer even made an appearance. Not because it's an actual beer, but because Abita is also a craft brewery. The root beer was mediocre in case you were wondering.

There were a few fruit beers there - the Blueberry Wheat, Apricot Wheat, Cherry Chocolate, and Aprihop.
The Blueberry Wheat and Cherry Chocolate beer were a bit too fruity for me. Smells of paint and band-aids were attributed to the Cherry Chocolate. I wasn't a fan of either one.
The Aprihop was surprisingly good. I've stayed away from apricots because memories of elementary school lunches and rubbery apricots have been burned into my memory. But I digress from my point. The Aprihop was good. The Apricot Wheat, not so much.

The 08 Rogue Imperial Stout was delicious, though maybe a little past it's prime.

It's a shame I can't buy Saranac Black Forest, Great Lakes Burning River, and Southern Tier Eurotrash Pilz. All of these stood out against the rest.

Thanks to everybody who brought beer and food and joined us for a great time. See you guys next month!
